There’s just something about walking into your home and being greeted by a beautiful scent. It instantly makes everything feel cozy, clean, and welcoming, especially after a long day running errands.
Growing up, my mom would make stovetop potpourri around the holidays, and to this day, any scent even close to that brings on a wave of nostalgia. It reminds me of twinkling lights, warm kitchens, and the comfort of the season.
If you know me, you know I always have a candle lit or a fresh scent going in my Pura diffuser. Since I’m constantly getting asked about my favorite scents, I thought I’d round them up for you here!
A quick note: I gravitate toward clean, sweet scents – nothing too floral. So if you love floral fragrances, this list might not be your perfect match. But if you’re into cozy, clean, and slightly sweet vibes, you’re in the right place!
Favorite Pura Scents
If you don’t have a Pura, you’re missing out! I have two in my home and absolutely love them. The scents are amazing, and I can control everything from the app on my phone – which is perfect when guests are coming over or we’re hosting a gathering.
Havana Vanilla by Capri Blue
Made by the same brand that created the iconic Volcano scent, this one is sweet, warm, and slightly smoky. It blends vanilla with notes of tobacco, bergamot, and sandalwood. I wasn’t sure I’d love it at first, but now it’s my absolute favorite!
Sweet Grace
This scent reminds me of a local boutique I adore. You know those places you walk into and immediately think, wow, it smells amazing in here? This is that scent. It’s cozy, a little sweet, and totally unforgettable. I even use this one in my car!
Volcano by Capri Blue
This might be the most popular scent in the world – and for good reason. If you’ve ever walked into an Anthropologie store, you know this scent. While it used to be my go-to, I don’t use it as often anymore simply because I’ve used it for so many years. Still a classic.
Santorini
I personally love this one – it’s like coconut, vanilla, and beachy goodness all wrapped into one. My husband isn’t a huge fan, but I keep it in rotation because it gives me serious vacation vibes. If Santorini had a scent, I imagine it would be this!
Linens & Surf
Clean, airy, and light – this one smells exactly like its name. It reminds me of a breezy beach house with open windows and fresh laundry. I especially love this scent during the summer months.
Favorite Candles
Salt Candle by Hearth & Hand (Target)
My all-time favorite candle! I burn this almost every single day, and without fail, people walk in and ask, “What is that amazing smell?!” It’s fresh, calming, and just perfect. I’ve gifted this candle to so many friends, and they’re always obsessed too.
Sage & Citrus by Yankee Candle
This one is earthy, cozy, and perfect for the fall or around the holidays. I discovered it through a deep dive on Amazon reviews (don’t we all do that?), and it quickly became a favorite. It’s actually burning right now as I write this!
MidSummer’s Night by Yankee Candle
Another Amazon discovery that turned into a staple. It has a slightly masculine vibe—kind of like a soft cologne—but with a clean finish. It’s moody in the best way and my most repurchased candle on Amazon!
